The Design
An outstanding design is certainly beautiful to look at, but it should never be just a sterile exercise in aesthetics. With Virtuosus, the design is simply the visible result of an approach directed at perfect ergonomy and restless research into surfaces which are easier to clean, and therefore more hygienic.

The Products

Virtuosus is an equipment of the S.P.R.I.D.O range, the embodiment of voer 40 years of O.M.S.'s experience and research. This has led to a perfect equilibrium of total ergonomy, quality and precision of mechanism, intuitive symmetrical controls and top-quality features. Vituosus is available in two version, Elegance and Classic, designed for professionals who express the quality approach of their work even when they choose a dental unit.

The Instruments

In Virtuosus, the mechanism that guides the instrument from its resting to its working position enables almost horizontal movement, avoiding any interference with the lamp. The parts which are more exposed to contamination, such as the instrument support, are easily autoclavable. The instrument table is anchored below, enabling precise, extremely light movements.

The Controls

The controls are arranged to enable almost instantaneous, intuitive control, without taking attention away from the patient. The double symmetrical controls on the instrument table make it suitable also for left-handed operators. The blue display ensures excellent visibility from every angle.

The Assistant's Workplace

With Virtuosus the assistant, like the operator, has an ergonomic and complete workstation. The assistant table, characterized by symmetrical and a large worksurface, can be freely angled in relation to the chair; it also has a standard pantographic arm. The basin swivels through 180o and has a safety catch on the fully extended position.

The Chair

The chair, with a frame made entirely from aluminium, has 3 memories, "last position" function, automatic reset. The minimum and maximum height are 33 and 79cm respectively. Its streamlined, ergonomic shape allows excellent functioning even from behind, guaranteeing the patient maximum comfort. The footboard has symmetrical controls for the operator and the assistant. The position of the chair and the dynamic instruments can be easily operated by using the multi-function footcontrol.
 

The Features

Virtuosus has a wide range of standard features, for both Elegance and Classic versions. It also has high quality accessories including the S.D.S. disinfection system designed for use with either running, sterilised or distilled water, which can also be mixed with disinfectant.
